"There's a Kind of Hush" ("Hay una especie de silencio" o "Hay una clase de silencio") es una canción popular que fue escrita por Les Reed y Geoff Stephens para el grupo New Vaudeville quien grabara el álbum Winchester Cathedral (La catedral de Winchester) en 1966. Nueve años más tarde la canción fue un éxito en todo el mundo para Los Carpenters, quienes exendieron el título para incluir a casi toda la primera línea de la letra de la canción.
